Only the development and utilization of Virtual Research Environments render possible the genuinely digital processing of retro-digitized sources in the humanities. By utilizing these novel research platforms, research knowledge ermerges directly in the digital medium. Under the acronym SALSAH (System for Annotation and Linkage of Sources in Arts and Humanities) we're developing a virtual research environment (VRE). |
