Abstract |
The main objective is to identify the impacts of interventions directed at changing individual energy consumption patterns (e.g. campaigns, value change activities towards sufficiency, price models, smart metering or demand side management test cases, “2000Watt-family”) carried out by state, market or NGO actors. As interventions are always embedded in institutional contexts (e.g. collaboration between an NGO and an energy utility) that could influence the result and as relevant factors might not be known at the beginning or there might be multiple steering efforts active (explicitly or implicitly), this task accompanies scientifically real world interventions to get a better understanding of the role of governance designs and of social learning processes for individual energy decisions and behavior. Results will inform policy, market and institutional designs. As interventions either influence socio-economic determinants or the decision architecture, Task 2.3 will use results from Tasks 2.1 & 2.2 as starting points for interventions and will be responsible for disseminating results from the WP. |
