As part of the collaborative project AQUTE of the European Community, we perform experiments on quantum technology with ultracold atoms. Specifically, we develop techniques for the implementation of quantum gates and quantum metrology protocols on atom chips and develop interfaces between ultracold atoms and micro- and nanomechanical oscillators.
