The Focus of these investigations lies on establishing Libraries of nuclear reaction cross sections and weak interaction rates as well as nuclear equations of state at nuclear and supranuclear densities. The aim is to perform this with the best available nuclear theory, compare with experiments and apply to and test in nucleosynthesis studies for astrophysical processes involving exotic nuclei.
