The project will investigate general views and perspectives on corruption and its impact on the quality of public services and standard of life in Bulgaria.  The results will then inform an improved public communication/awareness strategy by the Bulgarian Government.  Results of the initial survey will identify most pressing sectors and will therefore determine further sectors to focus on and which public institutions should design the communication/awareness strategy (Ministry of Justice, Interior Ministry, the Anti-Corruption Commission, the Inspectorate). Specific messages/themes to be included in the proposed awareness strategy will be tested as part of this survey and in follow-up focus groups.
