The Project that is proposed continues the cycle begun by “The reform of Justice: some substantial aspects (civil, criminal and of an international projection)” in the period 2000-2003 and followed by “Internationalization of Justice and reform of the criminal process” in the period 2004- 2007.

Revolving around the as reiterated as pretermitted criminal procedure reform in Spain, of which the first was initially projected and the second was focused on, this third links the interdependence of the cited reform with the European Normative Framework projecting it now on America, on a trip which is certainly a return trip, as shown.

This third project focuses on the growing inter-influence of a European criminal procedural law, tending to the convergence, on the one hand, and to that which simultaneously feels the weight of the North American procedural system, which at the same time, on the other hand, exercises a determined pressure on Central and South American countries, whose criminal procedural system, until now had followed the footsteps of Spanish procedural law.
