Abstract In this paper we. present a distributed cache architecture for occasionally connected systems. The system is realised using an underlying P2P-infrastructure. The gridNet Framework provides a transparent interface for working with distributed cache-objects. The paper also contains a description of an envisioned example application running on top of the GridNet framework.
