Soil erosion is a major threat to soils. Mapping, monitoring and modelling of erosion is difficutl to its dynamic nature. Unmanned Aerial Vehlcles offer the opportunity forfast and accurate mapping of erosion patterns and volumes. This project explores the use of UAVs for erosion mapping in the context of Swiss legislation aimed at protecting soils.
