Das Unterkapitel skizziert die Entwicklung von Themen und Inhalten religiöser Sangsprüche und Meisterlieder sowie von markanten sprachlichen Gestaltungsweisen von den Anfängen im Spervogel-Korpus bis zu den Liedern der Kolmarer Liederhandschrift (ca. 1170-1450). This sub chapter in a handbook outlines the development of the religious 'Sangspruch' and 'Meisterlied' from the beginnings around 1170 up to the songs of the Colmar Liederhandschrift (ca. 1450). Its focus lies mainly on contents and topics of these songs, but attention is also drawn to prominent features of their linguistic form.
