Abstract |
In the development of therapeutic proteins, an important milestone is the characterization of the epitope of the therapeutic protein interacting with the target antigen. Patent cannot be filed without the epitope mapping of the new drug. With the progress of TE microscopy, CovalX identified a unique opportunity to extend this technology to the characterization of epitopes, using cryo-electron microscopy (cryo-EM). This technology will allow CovalX to offer a new service with unmatched quality/price/time delivery performance. During this project, cryo-EM will be used to characterise different proteins and their interaction with epitope-binding interaction partner proteins.
