Abstract |
The empirical research project aims at mapping, analysing, and classifying theological adaptations within selected migrant churches in Switzerland. Furthermore, the project looks at ecumenical relationships between churches with different backgrounds. A specific focus is set on several migrant churches in the Kanton of Aargau. The sample consistis of 10 migrant churches belonging to the protestant family. Through participant observations in services and conferences of the churches the question of contextual theologies will be answered. Interviews with church leaders and other collaborators of the church will clarify the structure, background and aim of the churches and their ecumencil connectivity.
The project is funded by the Kantonalkirche Aargau over the period of three years. |
