Abstract |
The objective of this project is to improve the user-friendly software or application (e.g. xls
add-in or MatLab application) for deriving estimates of soil redistribution rates from Plutonium (Pu) measurements. The activities will include the following: (i) improvement of Plutonium (Pu) conversion model;
(ii) Plutonium (Pu) conversion model validation;
(iii) at the end of the project, the Contractor will deliver to the IAEA the “Plutonium (Pu) conversion Model to assess soil redistribution in agroecosystems” to make it available to the wide public and IAEA Member States through the IAEA website. A joint peer-reviewed publication in collaboration with the Project Officer will present this innovative model to the international scientific community. |
