Abstract |
The national PASC project DIAPHANE aims at developing a powerful portable radiative transfer library for SPH and AMR hydro codes, for multiple astrophysical applications (http://www.pasc-ch.org/projects/projects/diaphane/).
In Basel we focus especially on applications to supernova and hypernova explosions and the related neutrino transport. Such methods are tested in the SPH code SPHINX, the publically available high performance grid-based application code FLASH http://flash.uchicago.edu/site/flashcode/ and the locally developed grid-based code ELEPHANT/FISH |
