The project aims (i) to investigate the nuclear spins in a single quantum dot with nuclear magnetic resonance techniques and to determine the hole-nuclear spin coupling; (ii) to develop a single photon source at the wavelength of the Rb atom; (iii) to improve the photon collection efficiency by engineering the photonic modes
