Mechanical, electronic, and chemical properties of inter and/or intra molecule at "atomic-scale" will be studied. In order to present such measurements, a specially-designed high-resolution low-temperature ultrahigh vacuum atomic force microscope will be designed and built. This project establishes a state-of-the-art measurement technology on molecular system.
