| Abstract |
The proposed research will focus upon the question of uniform interpretation of the Vienna Sales Convention on Contrcts for International Sale of Goods (CISG) in Eastern European jurisdiction.
Eastern Europe is undergoing an economic transition and the research will have a particular focus on Russia, Ukraine and Belarus, while also considering Poland (as a former member state of the Warsaw Pact). The research will specifically pay attention to the interpretation of Articles 14, 55 12 and the reservation article 96, in the targeted group of countries.
