Abstract From Alzheimer's visual cortex mRNA, a novel cDNA sequence with homology to the carboxy-terminal two-thirds of known serine proteinases was isolated (43% identity with human trypsinogen II). The corresponding mRNA has a size of approximately 8 kb and is expressed in low amounts in all human tissues tested.
