| Abstract |
Researchers from France, Germany, Austria and Switzerland have devoted a two day conference to different aspects of Emmanue Lévinas' "Difficile Liberté" 50 years after its first publication. The researchers, coming from fields as Philosophy, Theology, and Jewish Studies tried to show Lévinas within his time, but also the impact of his thinking for the present.
Organizers of the conference were Miriam Fischer (Department of Philosophy, University of Basel), and Alfred Bodenheimer (Center for Jewish Studies, University of Basel).
The proceedings of the conference are going to be published at Karl Alber Verlag, Freiburg im Breisgau. |
