Abstract This chapter explores the function of the visual system in zebrafish larvae, which have startlingly similar eye problems to human subjects. Its artistic corollary, Electric Retina, is a collaboratively produced sculpture that incorporates interpretive film-loops to bridge the gap between clinical applications and basic neuroscience.
