The transfaculty research program Co-Production of Health (cph) was launched in January 2011 as a joint project of the University Hospital of Basel and the Faculty of Humanities (Department of the Social Sciences). The aim of the program is to systematically examine health as a dynamic process between different stakeholders such as patients, health care providers, and hospital administration. Based on various individual projects a deeper understanding of the possibilities, conditions, and consequences of co-production of health within a network of stakeholders and within specific organisational structures will be investigated.
